It is anxiety that has the following characteristics:
- It is chronic (at least 6 months),
- It touches on various topicsof everyday life that are not necessarily related to each other, for example health, work and relationships.
- It is exaggerated and difficult to control, it generates a tendency to imagine catastrophic scenarios for the future even though they are unlikely to happen.
- It leads to sufferingwith consequences that can interfere with social relationships, family or work life…
At least three of the following symptoms must be present:
- Difficulty concentrating
- Muscle tension
- Sleep disturbance
