Stress is anormal response of adaptationof our organism to the constraints and aggressions that we go through each day. To put it simply, it is an essential reaction for survival.
The body adapts and reacts to stress:
- Reflexive implementation of numerous physiological reactionsof regulation and defence (cardiac, neurological, hormonal…);
- Reactions of a psychological, emotional and mental nature ;
- Behavioural reactions.
Ultimately, there are two kinds of stress: good and bad stress.
- The positive aspect of stress is: it mobilizes our bodies to cope and focuses us towards effective action.
- The negative aspect of stress: the response is maladaptive, our energy is spent on emotionalism at the expense of action.
